Liberty Drive — Privacy & Terms
Last updated 25 September 2026 · com.jauntym.libertydrive · Android, iPhone and iPad
Liberty Drive is a single-player game that plays fully offline. It does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, camera or microphone, and it has no advertising.
What we collect, and why
On iPhone and iPad, nothing. That version has no analytics, no crash reporter and no notifications, makes no network calls of its own, and asks for no permissions. The rest of this section is about Android only.
On Android, from version 0.9.15, the game sends anonymous usage statistics and crash reports to Google Firebase, so we can see which parts of the game people play, where they get stuck, and what crashes, and fix it. You can switch this off at any time in Options → Share usage & crash data. When it is off, nothing is sent.
- Usage statistics (Firebase Analytics). Things that happen in the game, such as starting a chapter, finishing or failing a delivery, buying a business or vehicle with in-game money, or how long you played. It also records basic device information (phone model, Android version, language, and the country Google derives from your connection) and a random ID Firebase creates for this installation of the app.
- Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics). When the game crashes or hits an error: the technical details of the error, the phone model and Android version, and where you were in the game (chapter, current job, vehicle), so the problem can be reproduced.
- Remote settings (Firebase Remote Config). The game may download small settings from us, such as a message on the title screen or switching a feature off if it misbehaves. This downloads to your device and sends nothing about you.
- Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging), only if you turn them on. The game asks once whether you want to hear about new missions, events and updates, and only a yes brings up your phone's own permission prompt. If you agree, Firebase gives this installation a random token so that messages can reach it, and the app joins a few general message lists (such as "new missions, English"). Every message goes to everyone on a list; none is written for, or aimed at, you personally, and the token is never sent to us. Optional reminders to come back to the game are a separate switch, off unless you turn them on. Turn either off at any time in Options → Notifications, or in your phone's settings; switching notifications off deletes the token.
What is never collected: your in-game name, your saved games, your location, anything you type, your contacts or files, and the Advertising ID (the app does not request it).
This data is not sold, and it is not used for advertising or shared with anyone for their own purposes. Google processes it for us as a service provider under the Firebase terms and Google's privacy policy. Analytics data is kept for 14 months; crash reports for 90 days.
What is stored on your device
Your saved games, your settings and your progress are written to the app's own private storage on your device. We cannot read them.
Your own device backup may include them, so your progress survives a reinstall or a new phone. Android backs the app's private data up to your own Google account (Android Auto Backup) and restores it when you install the game on a device signed into that account. iPhone and iPad include the app's data in your device backup — iCloud or a computer — if you have backups switched on. That backup is the operating system's and yours; we have no access to it.
Uninstalling the app removes the game's data from the device.
Purchases
The game offers optional in-app purchases of in-game coins. You can finish the whole game without buying anything.
Every purchase is handled entirely by the store you installed from — Google Play on Android, Apple on iPhone and iPad. Your payment details are never seen by, entered into, or stored by this app, and that store's own privacy policy governs the transaction: Google's privacy policy, Apple's privacy policy.
On Android, the game records that a purchase was started, completed or cancelled, and which coin pack, as part of the usage statistics above — never payment details. On iPhone and iPad it records nothing.
Permissions (Android only)
- Internet and network state: to reach Google Play for purchases, and Firebase for the statistics, crash reports and notifications above.
- Billing: lets the app ask Google Play to show a purchase screen.
- Wake lock: lets Firebase finish sending statistics briefly after you leave the game.
- Notifications (Android 13 and later): lets the game show notifications, and only after you have said yes when asked.
Deleting your Liberty Drive data
The usage statistics Liberty Drive sends are filed under a random ID for your installation, not under your name or account, so we need that ID to find them. To have them deleted:
- Open Liberty Drive and go to Options.
- Tap Data ID … · copy. The full ID is copied.
- Email it to [email protected] with the subject Liberty Drive data deletion.
Within 30 days we delete all usage statistics linked to that ID, and reply to confirm.
- Crash reports cannot be deleted one installation at a time. They hold no personal information, and they are deleted automatically 90 days after they are received.
- Notifications: switching them off in Options deletes the notification token straight away; you do not need to ask.
- Your saved games are only on your device (and your own backup), never with us. Uninstalling the game removes them.
If Options shows no Data ID, the game has never sent statistics from that phone and there is nothing to delete. To stop anything new being sent, turn off Share usage & crash data.
Children
The game is suitable for general audiences. It is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes
If what the game collects changes, this policy will be updated before that version is published, and the change will be described here.

Terms of Use
Playing the game
Liberty Drive is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may not sell it, redistribute it, or charge other people for access to it. You are welcome to stream it, record it and post videos of it, including monetised ones.
If you installed the game from the App Store, Apple's own Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to that copy, and these terms are additional to it. Where the two disagree, Apple's agreement governs.
What the game is
Liberty Drive is a work of fiction. Every character, business and event in it is invented, and any resemblance to real people or firms is coincidence. Street and landmark names in Lahore are real, but the city in the game is a compressed and stylised version of it — buildings, layouts and distances are not accurate, and nothing in the game is intended to depict any actual place, property or business.
Ownership
Liberty Drive, and the artwork, music and sound in it, are © 2026 Asad Khalil (JauntyM). All rights reserved, with these exceptions: the game is built with Godot Engine, © Juan Linietsky, Ariel Manzur and contributors, under the MIT License; and it uses the typefaces Barlow Semi Condensed and Bungee under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Those notices are reproduced inside the game under Options → Legal.
Purchases
The only thing sold in the game is in-game coins — the same rupees the jobs pay. Coins are spent inside the game on vehicles, businesses and property at their own prices; no purchase grants an item, a vehicle, a property or any story progress directly, and nothing in the game can be reached only by paying.
Purchases are handled entirely by the store you installed from — Google Play on Android, Apple on iPhone and iPad — and prices, taxes and refunds follow that store's own terms and refund policy. Prices are shown in your own currency by the store. Coins are a licence to use them within the game; they have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, exchanged or refunded for money by us.
No warranty
The game is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Some features are experimental and are labelled as such in the game — the auto-drive chauffeur in particular can get stuck or take a poor line, and you can take the wheel back at any time. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using the game.
Changes
These terms may change as the game does. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly, and the date at the top will be updated.
