Activision has unveiled exciting new details about the inaugural in-game event for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, dubbed 'Operation: Day Zero,' promising an array of rewards for participants. Scheduled to kick off on March 22, just a day after the highly anticipated launch of Warzone Mobile on March 21, this event aims to engage the community in a series of objectives to unlock exclusive items across all current Call of Duty titles.
The launch of Warzone Mobile marks a significant milestone, as it will support cross-progression with both Warzone and Modern Warfare 3. Additionally, players can rejoice in the fact that the game will offer full controller support, providing a more traditional Call of Duty gaming experience on mobile devices. Returning players will be pleased to revisit the beloved Verdansk map from 2019's Modern Warfare and the original Warzone title.
During Operation: Day Zero, players can accumulate Event Points by completing specific actions within the game's Battle Royale mode, such as opening supply boxes, eliminating opponents, executing headshots, utilizing kill streaks, fulfilling contracts, and making purchases from Buy Stations. Moreover, special Day Zero Supply Drops will be scattered throughout active zones, yielding increased XP gains and loot compared to regular drops. As the community collectively amasses Event Points and achieves various milestones, successive event zones will be unlocked, revealing additional rewards.
The rewards up for grabs include emblems, calling cards, weapon blueprints, decals, and the highly sought-after "Bloody Reaper" Ghost operator. Participants will receive individual rewards based on their contribution of Event Points to the community total. Therefore, players are encouraged to actively participate in Battle Royale mode to maximize their rewards.
All earned rewards can be claimed from the Warzone Mobile Event Shop until April 3 at 9:00 p.m. PT. These rewards are not restricted to Warzone Mobile but can also be utilized in Warzone and Modern Warfare 3, thanks to the game's cross-progression support.
Looking ahead, players can anticipate more events following Operation: Day Zero, along with regular playlist updates and significant balance patches. For those who have yet to pre-register for Warzone Mobile, there's still time to do so and secure various rewards upon launch. Pre-registered players will automatically receive their rewards upon logging into Warzone Mobile on March 21.
In summary, Operation: Day Zero promises an exhilarating start for Warzone Mobile, offering players a chance to immerse themselves in intense battles while unlocking exclusive rewards across the Call of Duty universe. With cross-progression support and a commitment to ongoing updates, Warzone Mobile is poised to redefine mobile gaming experiences for Call of Duty enthusiasts worldwide.
