Twitter is rolling out the view counts feature for tweets

Now this is something that we mostly just care about when it comes to videos. For tweets as long as I can remember it has just been the "heart" meaning the likes that have been counted publicly. Now that is going to change as per Elon Musk who announced on twitter that they are working on this feature and its going to be live very soon.

Twitter is rolling out View Count, so you can see how many times a tweet has been seen! This is normal for video.

Shows how much more alive Twitter is than it may seem, as over 90% of Twitter users read, but don’t tweet, reply or like, as those are public actions.

This is a good feature and something that should have been part of Twitter since the first day. People have to use various other tools to find and track data and analytics about their tweets as they are not publicly available directly for the consumers.

Now it seems all that is going to change starting with this little change that we are getting.
