Google shuts down Stadia but now brings in Chromebooks geared for cloud gaming!

It was a bit surprising to find out that Google was shutting down Stadia. As the service was looking like a good service at that time. But nevertheless that is the news. So now we are getting a new update in regards to Google Chromebooks that are going to be launched and they are going to be geared towards gaming!

So google is going to team up with Nvidia GeForce Now, Microsoft Xbox Cloud Gaming and Amazon Luna to get people the latest titles in online cloud gaming. Google will not be using their service but they would be actively providing services via other platforms on their Chromebooks. Sounds like a good plan as they don't really have to spend a lot of resources on building up the service since there are other platforms already providing good services.

Google is also going to partner with some hardware companies like Acer, Corsair, HyperX to make accessories or classify different accessories as "Works with Chromebook" as in compatible with Chromebook. People would be more attracted and find these accessories more appealing that way.

The Chromebooks are going to range from $300 to $799. So they are going to cater to different classes of customers. Which is good to know as there are many customers who wouldn't really want to go above a certain price point when it comes to gaming and especially cloud gaming. I would say that the type of customer who is venturing into cloud gaming is trying to save up on some money as well. Otherwise they would spend the amount that is required to get a proper console or a PC. That's just one of the aspects. Among other reasons.
