If you were planning on playing Chrono Cross or any of the other classics that have recently disappeared from the PlayStation Store, we have some bad news for you. According to an announcement by Sony, several PS3 and Vita games are no longer playable because their licenses have expired. This includes games like PaRappa the Rapper 2, Twisted Metal:Black, War of the Monsters, and more.
If you already have these games downloaded to your PS Vita or PS Vita, you'll still be able to play them. However, if you delete the games from your library, you will not be able to re-download them. The same goes for any DLC or add-ons that you may have purchased for these games.
Sony has not yet announced whether or not they will be renewing the licenses for these games, so for now, it looks like we'll just have to enjoy them while we can. We'll be sure to keep you updated if any new information comes to light. In the meantime, what are your thoughts on this news? Let us know in the comments
